Privacy Rights
These California Privacy Rights are in addition to the philoro Privacy Policy, and all terms and definitions within the philoro Privacy Policy apply to this statement of your California Privacy Rights. In addition to the rights set forth in the philoro Privacy Policy, California residents are entitled to the following additional disclosures about our data processing:
1. Shine the light notice
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request once per calendar year, certain information regarding a business’s disclosure, if any, of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, including the categories of information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we have shared such information. 2. California consumer privacy act / California privacy rights act
If you are a California resident, and to the extent philoro is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the ”CCPA”), you may have the following rights, subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements:
Right to know/access: request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the business or commercial purposes for collecting, using, disclosing, selling, or sharing the information, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose the information, and the categories of Personal Information disclosed, sold, or shared.
Right to delete: request deletion of Personal Information we collected from you, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: philoro may sell certain categories of your Personal Information. We do not knowingly sell the Personal Information of minors under the age of 18. You have the right to opt out from philoros selling or sharing your Personal Information, where applicable.
Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive Personal Information: request that we limit our use or disclosure of sensitive Personal Information to purposes permitted by California law, where applicable.
Right to non-discrimination: you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your California privacy rights.
3. How to submit a request
To submit a California privacy rights request, please email usa@philoro.com. Please specify the type of request you make so we can process it appropriately. Authorized agents may also submit requests on behalf of California residents, subject to applicable proof of authorization and identity verification requirements.
4. Verification process
To protect Personal Information, we may need to verify your identity and confirm that the Personal Information relates to you before responding to your request. We may request additional information solely for verification purposes. If an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may require proof of the agent’s authority and may also require you to verify your identity directly with us, as permitted by law. We may deny a request that cannot be verified or that is otherwise not required to be fulfilled under applicable law.
5. Timing of response
We aim to respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 calendar days after receipt. If additional time is reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period by up to an additional 45 calendar days and will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.
6. Notice regarding online opt-out signals
If our website uses cookies or similar technologies in a manner that constitutes a sale or sharing of Personal Information under California law, California residents may exercise their opt-out rights through the methods we make available in our Privacy Policy and, where required by law, through a recognized opt-out preference signal.
